I wand to crossfade and overlap songs in iMovie like this;
but for this I need to add small video or photo to upper track, like this
My aim to create very long remix by crossfading songs (Don't worry its for my personal use), I only want audio, not a video
Is there any way to add 2 or 3 layers of audio without attachment of photo or video to upper track ?

You can use a black background, dragged out to as long as you want for the duration. When you share it out as a Movie it will play a black screen with the audio.
Or, share it out as an audio-only and you will get just an audio clip, not a movie.

To overlap and cross fade the two audio clips like you want would require a video clip or background in the timeline above.
I don't know if GarageBand can do it, as I don't use that program much.

I have GarageBand 6.0.6. Playing around with Apple Loops, I was able to overlap sound tracks and do a cross fade, using the Master Volume control.
I would assume that the latest version, GarageBand 10, would do the same thing. You might want to experiment a little and see what the program(s) can do.
