for some reason, when i go to the tab to select photos and put them in the timeline, it says no photos or video.
I'm using the Final Cut Pro Trial Version 10.4. with photos Version 4.0

Are you storing the photos in iCloud Photos Library? They have to be stored locally for FCP. Also open the Photos library and in preferences make sure it is designated as the system library. You might have to restart FCP.

Ok is just found out that I had it where you can only have photos be copied to the iCloud Library, thanks for letting know.
