Adding Fonts from Font app to Pages app

My computer was deleted twice to solve computer problems but now I have different other problems. I love Apple Chancery font, which is in my Font App but doesn't come up in my Pages app. How do I take fonts from the Font application and add them to the Pages 7.2 application? I'm an old lady that knows what I've learned over the years but not how to fix these problems I have now.

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015), iOS 10.3.3, Airprt Extreme 802.11ac/High Sierra

It is in the Format-Font list. It is not in the drop down list of fonts in Pages and TextEdit, which has always been the same before. That is why originally, I asked how to take a font from the Format-Font list and put it in the Pages drop down list.

Thank you. Apple Chancery used to be after Zapfino but now there is nothing after Zapfino in Pages and not listed alphabetically. That is why I was hoping to be able to add fonts from my fonts app.

I see all the Apple fonts there. They just don't show up when I'm typing in Pages and bring up those fonts.

Apple Chancery is not in the list and you can't type in the name. Clicking on the box takes you to the last font used. Thank you though.

It was much easier to have it right there next to what I was typing to change font. I guess I want things the way they were. ha Thank you for all your help.
