The number presented for Swap Used is a "High-Water mark" indicator (it never goes down again). That indicates that at some point since the last restart, you were so short of RAM that you needed to "simulate" 1.77GB on your boot drive.


A quick fix is a Restart, and closing a lot of your opened Browser windows as well. Most of the Top Memory users listed are Web site Browser windows, and you have more open that most folks could look at in an hour.


Think about committing some of those to BookMarks or Favorites, and closing their windows.
