How do I stop what seem to be Junk Notifications? I've gone thru Notifications in Settings and there seems to be every time I go there something I didn't sign up for. Now I'm getting Halloween Notifications. Where do they come from? Is my Mac infected with something?

Maftask is a version of Mac Autofixer. See this http://www.myantispyware.com/2018/08/23/how-to-remove-maftask-virus-from-mac/

If you decide to download Malwarebytes, do it from here. Free Antivirus Replacement & Anti-Malware Tool | Malwarebytes

But the free version may not remove the malware.

If you have a Time Machine backup dating from before all this trouble began, you can go into Recovery mode and restore from that backup.
