How to apply a fixed duration to multiple photo clips

I am building an iMovie project that includes video clips and photos imported from my Photos library. Frequently I have a string of 12 photos in the project where it would be convenient to apply a set duration different from the 3.0 seconds that is fixed on the photos that I import into the project (typically I would like the duration to be 4.5 or 5.0 seconds). Is there a way to select the photos that are in the project, then standardize the duration to 4.5 seconds? Currently I am "Stretching" each highlighted photo to adjust the duration, but this is a real pain to have to do it for each individual photo.

I see several replies to this question from 10 years ago, but the mac OS and the versions of Photos and iMovie have all changed since then. Can you give me an answer based on the current versions? (listed below)

Thank you

Buster

IMovie version: 10.1.9

Photos version: 4.0

macOS: Mojave 10.14

iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.5)

Hi, HDP,

Yes, you can adjust the duration of photos in a batch or individually in the time line. Select the photo or a range of photos and then click on the little information button (the one with an "i" in a circle) in the toolbar at the upper right of your screen. A little duration box will appear to the right. You can set your duration there at anything you want. Then be sure to press the Return key on your keyboard. All the pics that you selected will have the same duration that you set.
