Is It Possible To Recover Data From A Destroyed iPhone 3GS?

I have a iPhone 3GS (16GB) that is destroyed. The battery doesn’t work, the screen won’t turn on, and the back of the iPhone is badly cracked. It is dead. But I want to get data off it and put it on my 16GB iPod Touch 4. Is there a way to get data off it. I have not turned on iCloud Backup on the iPhone or iTunes Backup.
