Installing High Sierra and Mojave OS

I have a MacBook Pro Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013, Processor 2,6 GHz Intel Core i5, Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Graphics Intel Iris 1536 MB (which says Metal: Supported) but I have failed to install both High Sierra and Mojave.

At close to what appears the end of the installation the computer gets stuck and I have to force it off and reinstall from my backup disk all my old material including Sierra 10.12.6. FileVault was turned off.

I have tried several times with both systems with the same result.
