Apple pay Unable to find iPhone 7 from iMac

I have Apply pay on my Mac enabled on my iPhone. My iphone 7 is at version 12.1 and my iMac is late 2012 and running macOS Mojave v10.14. I have Apple pay enable in my privacy setting in Safari (v12.0). I have my iPhone on the same network as my iMac and have bluetooth enable on both. I have cleared all website data and reset Safari.

With all that said, I continue to ge the following error when trying to use apple pay on my iMac using safari.

"iPhone" could not be found to confirm payment"

I have used apple pay from my Mac in the past.

Help !!
