ios Mojave on a MacPro and compatibility with Word for Mac

I recently upgraded to ios Mojave on my MacPro and am enjoying it, so far.

On my system I also run MS Office, including Word for Mac, which has worked fine for the past several years. The other day I opened one of my frequently used Word files and when I attempted to print it the software shut down. I have been able to reopen the program and file but still am unable to print anything from Word.

Any solution or do I need to update the MS Office bundle?
