Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you’re having trouble turning off cellular data from Control Center. I’m happy to provide some steps that might help.


To start, I suggest restarting your iPhone if you haven’t already. If that doesn’t help, and you’re able to turn off cellular data by tapping Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data), the next thing I’d try is resetting your network settings. This will remove any saved Wi-Fi passwords and VPN / APN data, so you’ll want to have that handy. Then, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.


If the above doesn’t work, I’d advise reinstalling iOS. This should not remove any of your data, but it’s always a good idea to have a recent backup:

You can find instructions for reinstalling iOS under the section labeled “Put your device in recovery mode and set it up again” in the article below:
