how to set up my iphone emails to syn with my hp laptop emails

After I erase an email on my HP laptop using Mozilla Thunderbird email, I would like that same email to automatically erase from my iPhone 5s email list. How do I set this up?

iPhone 6s, iOS 10.3.3

If you don't see this already then it is probably because you are using POP3 to collect mail. If the mail provider and clients can all support it switch then switch to IMAP4 or HTML.
