Apple has closed this thread: Thunderbolt Display will not wake up after sleep!!!!!!

BUT THEY HAVE NEVER SOLVED IT. Still open problem is the same. We are talking about 7 years+. Crazy. Jobs would accept it?!

M1 Macbook Pro and LG UltraFine 4K (from 2017) display does not reliably wake from computer sleep I have a brand new M1 Max 14" MacBook Pro, and it often does not wake up my external LG UltraFine when returning from a standby state. The monitor is clearly connected, all external drives connected to the USB-C slots are still available, but the screen itself says off. I can trick it into waking back up by playing with the refresh rate and cycling through 48hz/30hz settings before returning back to 60hz, but does anyone have any ideas for a permanent fix? Monitor not waking up from sleep M2 Mac mini Ventura 13.3.1 I am using a M2 Mac mini running Ventura 13.3.1 connected to an HP w2207 monitor via a hdmi to dvi d cable. The monitor is usually kept in sleep mode. When I boot up the mac mini the monitor refuses to wake up. I then have to switch off and switch on the monitor for the display to come on. The same isse happens when I restart the mac mini. My 2009 mac mini however works perfectly connected on the same cable via display port. Any suggestions to sort out this issue would be very welcome. Thanks.

Mac Mini 2018 frequently will not wake monitor from sleep I have a Mac Mini 2018 that frequently will not wake my monitor from sleep. I used to have this problem occasionally, but it is now happening daily. I am running Monterey (version 12.2) and am connected to a Dell 2719DX display via HDMI connections. In order to "wake up" I have to do a hard reset on the Mac - push and hold the power switch to turn it off - then turn it back on. I've tried unplugging and replugging in the HDMI cable and powering off/on the display but neither help. I've also performed SMC resets and that has not helped. My Energy Saver setting are shown below. My MacMini is still covered under AppleCare. Should I have Apple check on it?
