Ok I played something on Apple Music and it got rid of the podcast control on the lock screen Must be a glitch with the podcast app (yes I had previously closed the app)
You may want to turn off Siri Suggestions. Go to Settings > Siri & Search, then scroll down to Siri Suggestions, and uncheck the options you do not want.
Go into Settings, then select Control Center. In Control Center select Customize Controls. Turn off what you don't want, turn on what you do want.
Thanks! I did that and it went away for a while. I finally turned my phone off and then turned it back on and the podcast thing is gone and hasn’t come back (yet)
I’ve been having the same issue, random podcast episode (the same exact one) keeps showing up on my locked screen. I deleted the podcast app, and it’s still showing! There’s obviously a huge glitch going on, and i don’t know how to get rid of it. I turned off Siri suggestions and still keeps showing.
