Why am I getting error HDMI connection doesn’t support DHCP, when the cable does?
Using Apple TV 4K (model A1842, tvOS 12.1) with 2018 Samsung Q7 (model QN55Q7FNA, sfw vrs T-KTM2AKUC-1153.1, BT-S). Apple TV is connected To Samsung’s One box. attempted 5 different high speed HDMI, including the Belkin sold at Apple. Attempted multiple video format adjustment settings on both devices to no success. Took Apple TV to Genius Bar ready to have it replaced, but they could not reproduce the issue on the 4K TVs there. Irritating, but I saw it work as expected at the store. Brought back home. Spent over an hour with Samsung tech and issue was escalated within Samsung. The “workaround” of unplugging/plugging the Apple TV does not work for me. I’m hoping someone found the “magic” combination that works.
