Macbook Air 2017 some keys not working
Backstory: I ended up having some minor water spill 3 months ago on my old Macbook Air and the laptop totally blacked out after the incident. Took it to the Apple store and the computer manage to turn itself on with some magical combination of codes the tech entered but the entire keyboard and mousepad wouldn't function only AFTER we were logged into my account. The keys weren't functional while attempting to use a remote keyboard as well. Instead of paying a hefty amount of money to get it fixed, (because it was most likely water damage) I bought an identical Macbook to use.
I decided to keep the old Macbook to see if it would resurrect itself one day and low and behold today--after 3 months, it did! But with an issue: some of the right sided keys won't work on the keyboard (right side letters and numbers).
I decided to transfer my data to my new Macbook using Migration Assistant and the WEIRD things about this is that the old account transferred in my NEW laptop is having those same right sided keyboard issue. But logging into my current account, the keys are all working fine. To check to see if it wouId do the same, in my OLD MacbookAir, i made a side account and all the keys are working.
This has to be a software issue, right?
What can I do to fix this. To all the tech gurus out there, please help!
