iPhone 7 won’t recognize headphones nor the headphone jack adapter

Ever since I bought my iPhone 7, my headphones and the headphone jack adapter had been working perfectly, but lately the phone won’t recognize neither. Although it recognizes the charger.

I have tried both the headphones and the adapter and they’re working just fine.

Note that I have recently updated my software to iOS 12.1, could this be a software issue?

For this issue, I'd recommend following the steps in the support article If your headphones don't work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch . That article has a bunch of really good steps that you can try if you haven't already. In many cases, these steps will resolve the issue.

Tried that. Headphones are not working.

this happened today and then I upgraded to latest iOS version. Nothing...

i have 2 different headphones in case one fails while I’m working. Neither work.

out of options and not happy
