Why is Garageband opening with each boot up?

Every time I book up my Macbook Air, I find Garageband at the bottom trying to open.

How can I stop that?

GarageBand not responding in Big Sur I updated my MacBook to Big Sur, and for some reason GarageBand keeps not responding every time I try to open it. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but that didn't work. I tried deleting the GarageBand Sound Library and reinstalling it, but that didn't work. I even updated to the most recent version of GarageBand, but the program still wouldn't respond. All I can do is Force Quit the application and that's it. Is there any way to fix this or am I just doomed? Because this issue didn't happen when I updated my MacBook to Catalina.

GarageBand Launches but not responding… I have an iRig HD2 connected to my iMac running Catalina (10.15.7). Now every time I try to launch GarageBand with or without the iRig plugged in the app launches but nothing happens and I usually have to force quit the app. I have found that if I hold the option key down when I launch the app it sometimes behaves but not always. Should I uninstall GarageBand and re-install it? It is most frustrating!

ctrl-click on GB's icon in your dock and under Options make sure that the Open at Login menuItem is not checked.
