I've researched my issue but not found an exact match so I thought I'd ask here.
On my iPad, I clicked on my name in my contacts to send myself an email and when the mail window opened up, there was an email address populated in the cc window. I have no idea who it is or how it got there. Any thoughts on how I can remove it?
Please check: Settings - General - Profile & Device Mnagement. Any profile you might see that you donāt recognize, remove it as well as the bogus app that installed it.
It will probably be something like ā Red Alerts Emergencyā

Launch the Mail app on your iPad
Compose a new email.
In the To: field, type the first letters of the name or email address you want to remove.
You will see a list of email addresses that contain the same string of letters.
Tap the little blue āiā icon next to the email address you want to delete.
Select "Remove From Recents" at the bottom
Try a spotlight search. See what it brings when type the first 4 letters Ysen.
Iām curious of this.
I find it it odd that it shows in the field that should contains YOUR email address.
and your screenshot confirms you do not have CC or BB turned on.
maybe is a hotmail issue?
Try
Settings > Mail >
Show To/Cc Labels: OFF
Always Bcc Myself: OFF
Which Default Account are you using?

Sorry, this didn't help. There isn't an email address in my address book matching the one that's auto populating in the CC field.
Also, that address was there in the Cc/Bcc, From field in the new blank message.
I only have the hotmail account pushed to my iPad.
I don't believe I have Show To/Cc turned on?

Yes! I did as you suggested and that App came up when I clicked the Profile item. I deleted it and the problem was solved....
Perfect. Glad we were able to get to the bottom of the issue š.
