New logic board fried again after 17 months

Paid apple to install a new logic board 17 months ago.
The well known symptoms of overheating-- on startup I have vertical pink & blue bars, and about halfway thru the startup progress bar, the screen flashes & the unit shuts down.  Yes I zapped the PRAM and reset the SMC. Before I reset the SMC it would restart endlessly.  I don't even stress the graphics chip -- I spend 95% of my time using a browser. Almost zero time watching video.

16” MacBook Pro (late 2019) - common logic board failure I purchased a 16” MacBook Pro (intel) in late 2019. In just over 3 years of light use this device abruptly shut its self down and has not turned back on since. All signs point to a malfunctioned logic board. Come to find out this is a common problem with this particular model. At what point does apple admit to this defect and help their loyal customers. I can’t justify spending 3k after just 3 years of light use for another MacBook Pro. I never thought I’d ever say that Apple is a brand I can’t trust : ( Has anyone else had this happen to their 16” MacBook? Is there an escalation process for such a major concern? I would like to see this become a recall of some kind. Thanks

Macbook Pro 15 - 2018(A1990) repeated logic board failure I have a 15 inch Macbook Pro that was bought early last year (Mar/Apr 2020). Logic board have already failed once last year -- just a few months into using the laptop (which was covered under warranty) and it failed again a few days back. Brought it to Apple Service Center and they said that I'd have to pay $1000 to replace another logic board. But seriously, what if the logic board fails again? Does that mean that I'll have to pay each time it fails just to get it fixed? Because I'm pretty sure the macbook is probably faulty from the start. Have seen some others facing the same issue in forums. Any advise if it is even worth getting fixed? Here's some of the specs: Macbook Pro 15, Intel i9, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Radeon Pro Vega 20.
