My mobile devices, (iphone8 and iPad air are asking to update an old Apple ID that is no longer in use. This all began after I turned on an old iPhone 5s that is no longer in use. How do I remove this request?

Is this in Settings?

If you are using IOS 12, I read a post several days ago where someone posted they had talked to Apple Support about this and were told it is a known bug that Apple is trying to correct. If you click Cancel, does the window go away? You can also try signing out of iCloud and back in which has worked for some people.
