Why can I not set a Live Photo as wallpaper on the lock screen on my iPhone XR? It doesn’t have the option in settings. When I select a photo which is live in my photos, it is still when it shows on the lock screen
It’s a billion dollar corporation and a 800 dollar phone. Live wallpapers do not require 3d touch. Apple can make a easy work around. People expect it because they paid more for a newer phone and get left out from most stuff. It’s a tap and hold feature. This shouldn’t only work with 3D touch. I would be lmaoing if they couldn’t figure out how to make a new version.
3D Touch isn‘t on the Xr. Instead you get Haptic Touch which is similar but limited in comparison with 3D Touch.
No. The Flashlight and Camera Icon on the Xr‘s Lock Screen are Haptic Touch. That’s not the same as 3D Touch.
I'm not Apple, just an Apple user.
Live Wallpapers are just not supported with the Xr. This might change with iOS 13. Be patient.
Because this feature is not supported with the Xr.
