How do I stop my iPhone from ringing through my Bluetooth speaker? My phone is on silent but rings extremely loud through my speaker. It’s very disruptive at work and typically scares me half way to death. Lol!
The speaker volume is very low. My ringer is on silent, and I have the volume on the first little bar. I even tried putting my phone in Do Not Disturb and it still rings abnoxiously loud.

both headsets and bluetooth speakers use the A2dp bluetooth profile List of Bluetooth profiles - Wikipedia
the iphone just see a device which implement that profile it don't know if it's one or the other
Do you have a family member or friend that has a different Bluetooth speaker you can test and see if it does the same thing? The ringer volume on the speaker may be different than while listening to music. Have you tried turning down the speaker volume (on the speaker itself, not the iPhone) while a call was coming through? I believe the Do Not Disturb only applies when you aren't connected to a speaker or using headphones.
Disconnect from the speaker or turn the speaker volume down.
