? Airprint to canon pixma mx340 printer

I am trying to get my canon mx340 printer to air print from my macbook pro on mac OS sierra. Canon cannot/will not help. Any suggestions? Thanks.

New Canon G1520 printer, will not print I’ve just bought a Canon G1520 printer, for my 2015 iMac that’s running High Sierra 10.13.6. It doesn’t print. The Canon helpline say it’s an Airprint printer, though it’s not stated as such in the specifications or list of compatible printers on the Canon website, or on Apple’s list. The printer is connected via a USB cable. When I try to add the printer my iMac says that software is missing and I should download it from the printer company. Can't select Airprint when setting up a new printer queue I've got a Canon ImageClass LBP214dw printer. I can see and print to it with my iPhone 11 and with an older MacBook Pro running macOS 12.4. When I add the printer to that MacBook Pro it automatically populates with the AirPrint print driver and everything works fine. Now with the newer MacBook Pro, I have macOS 12.4 on it. I installed the UFR II 10.19.11 Canon drivers from their site for the printer on the computer and now when I try to add that printer I get an error "Unable to communicate with the printer at this time." I am also not able to select the AirPrint print driver anymore on that computer. It seems to be missing from the list of selectable drivers! So if I select the LBP214 driver I get the previously listed error and the queue doesn't work. Does anyone have a suggestion for me to try or does anyone know of a way to get that AirPrint print driver available to select when adding a printer? Thanks in advance.

How to Print from Macbook Air to Canon D530 MacBook Air M2 --> Canon D530 printer No specific driver download is available from Canon for a Mac to print to the Imageclass D530 printer. The D530 does not have wifi connection. Is there any way to get the MacBook Air to print to the Canon D530 via USB connection? Should I try installing a driver for another model printer to see if it may work? Is there a possibility the Windows driver that is available, may work on the Mac? I have heard of printing from an SD card. Does a driver need to be installed on the SD card to print? If a Mac to Canon530 driver must be on the card then I'm back to the original problem... no driver.

Canon said they do not support the printer anymore. There are no driver updates. When I first called, the automated system, after asking which model I had, told me about the ended support, directed me to the website (no useful information there), and then disconnected me. After some trials, I spoke to two people who said the same thing. there are some apps out there and I was wondering if anyone had experience with them.

What did Canon Support say? Have you checked for a driver update?
