Mobile data update failed

Sir, upon updating to iOS 12, my iPhone 7, model A1660 failed to recognize any network carrier. I keep switching it on and off, I even tried pressing the power switch and the down volume switch at the same time as prescribed by a specialist, yet it doesn’t work. What should I do to restore my phone to normalcy?
