Stocks showing yesterday's closing numbers (not updating)

The stock widget on both my iPhone and Macbook Pro desktop is stuck showing yesterday's closing numbers. I checked with my colleague and his is also not updating. Yahoo Finance is ok so I assume it's an issue with Apple feed from Yahoo? Here is a screenshot from my MB Pro at 10:16 AM showing the widget not updated (iPhone shows the same). Anyone else having this issue?

iPhone 8, iOS 12.1, Bluetooth hands-free connectivity

Update: It is now loading today's numbers as of 11:17 AM EST. I've never seen that snafu happen before.

The Stocks app is still not updating. Last update was around 10:30. Is someone at Apple working on this issue?

I also noticed that Background App Refresh can not be turned on in the Stocks App.

Yeah, I spoke too soon. It's frozen again for me. Bad timing in a volatile market to have to look elsewhere for your list of stocks.
