Netflix app for iOS 6.1.6

Hello,

I had the Netflix app installed on my iPod touch 4 since 2010

I have had to uninstall it a few times because the app messed up.

When it was time to reinstall, I had no issues installing it.

The app store would say my iPhone needs iOS 8 or higher

but, you can download the last compatible version of the app.

I then would tap the download button and it would install.

But this last time, it doesn't give me the option to download the last compatible version.

I contacted Netflix, they say I should be able to install the app on any apple devise with iOS 5.0 and higher.

My iPod touch has iOS 6.1.6

How can I get the apple store to offer me the older version of the Netflix app?

Is there anyway to force it to offer me the last compatible version of the Netflix app?

Is there any another way to get the Netflix app installed on my iPod?

Everyone I have asked always says, upgrade your iOS.

My iPod is upgraded as far as Apple will allow.

They will also say, then buy a new iPod.

Why buy a new iPod when this one still works like new.
