grave accents <è> in Mac OS X 10.4.9

Since my last update on Mac OS X 10.4.9, I cannot find the way of writing with grave accents <è> as I usually did with my spanish keyboard. My language is Catalan and these accents are used really frequently.

Anyone knows if it's some configuration stuff or is it a bug of the 10.4.9?

Thanks in advance,

guillem

It's quite strange.

It certainly is, never seen this particular problem before in these forums.

Since the Shift version of this key works, it would seem the physical keyboard could not be at fault, but I'm not totally sure about that.

If you change your layout from Spanish ISO to Spanish, the grave deadkey should move one to the right, and the acute is next to the p. I wonder if both would work correctly in that case?

By the way, do you have a Catalan layout? I thought OS X included one, but now I can't seem to find it on my machine.
