Hi,
I know how to change the fill colour of a cell but is it possible to customise that colour as I'm trying to get a specific colour and cant find on standard colours?

Yep. Click on the little color wheel and the color picker window will let you use/make whatever color you want using several different methods, including an eyedropper to pick a specific color from elsewhere on the screen.
