my apple id password

Hi

when trying to download an app from the app center it asks me for my password, after entering in my password correctly it just goes back to the "get" status and wont let me download the app. it doesn't say my password it wrong it just wont let me download the app.

iPhone 8 Plus, 12

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.

Try a forced restart.
