Cannot access a website

Both my husband and myself have IPhone 5C’s and iPad-4th generation. He recently created a website through Go-Daddy and Wix but we cannot access the website on any of our pieces of equipment. However, our daughter has an IPhone XR and iPad-pro and she can. Why?

iPad, 10

Did you try clearing history and website data? Tap Settings - Safari - Clear history and website data. Retry accessing the site.

So you have no problem accessing the website with iPad Air (I assume it is running iOS 11 or 12) but iOS 10 devices can't access the website. This sounds like digital certificate trust issue. Perhaps iOS 10 does not have the root certificate in its certificate store.

Try another third party Web browser, instead.

Here are a few, more popular, third party web browsers that I know are STILL being updated and supported on iOS 10 and earlier.

Firefox Web browser

Google Chrome browser

iCab Mobile Web browser

Dolphin Web browser

Dolphin Incognito Web browser

DuckDuckGo private Web browxer

Snow Bunny Web browser

Private Browsing Web browser

Aloha Web browser

Maxthon Web browser

Good Luck to You!

My iPad Pro is running iOS 10.3.3.

Like I said, the first few times I put the link in ( no, I didn't copy the period at the end of the link ) it didn't load and I got the Secure Socket Layer error message.

I then quit and re-launched my third party Web browser and that time, the link loaded.

The link has a menu at the top of the Website, then follows an image of a male lawyer with address and contact info next to the image and other info as you scroll down.

Then a bunch of info about this lawyer in front of an ocean shore background.

Then the very bottom of the Website has a contact info form to fill in.

The Website has a lot of different web design features and effects going on.

It did finally load into my Web browser on my iPad Pro running iOS 10.3.3.
