Hi, my High Sierra computer can no longer run FCP7, so I need someone with FCP7 to export my (few/small) .fcp projects as XML (so I can import them into Premiere).

My bad. I just checked my imported timeline in Premiere, and it does look like some clips have their speed/timing completely messed up.
I guess it's time to purchase and install a copy of Final Cut Studio 3 - which includes Final Cut Pro 7. Try calling Apple at 800-MY-APPLE first and see if part number MB642Z/A ($999) is available. If not, ebay would be another option for you as well :)
Ok, FCP7 should arrive in a week or so.
I guess it's no longer pertinent, but do you have any idea why the FCP7 XML translated so poorly into Premiere/FCPX?

And do you know if there's a way to accurately import the sequence into Premiere (as that's the editor I'm currently most familiar with)?
