Bluetooth peripherals keep dropping after sleep wake on mac

Reading through the comments here and there it looks like this was raised with high sierra upgraders and also mojave, but i think the problem is that some are getting it and some aren't.


Towards the end of last month, after having been on high sierra for a while, my bluetooth everything (KB, magic mouse, magic trackpad) all started losing connection after the mac has been asleep for a few hours. In the morning I would get into my office and click kb, mouse and tp, none wakes up mac.


I then have to connect via wire then reset BT just to reconnect anything that doesn't auto connect.


This has literally driven me to a situation where I just leave it connected on wire. I have done all sorts of "resets" recommended and reset bluetooth module as well, but nothing seems to work.

Try resetting the NVRAM: Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
