Heart Rate Complication not updating on Apple Watch

I received an Apple Watch Series 3 about two weeks ago. Updated it to most recent update, watchOS 5.1.3. Just a day ago, the heart rate complication stopped updating on my watch. I can tap on the icon and open the application, where the heart rate will update. But the updates HR will not show up on the watch face complication. I restarted the watch and reconnected to my phone. No change. Does anyone know why this might be occurring? Thanks!

Reset didn’t work for me but I went into “watch face” in the watch app on iPhone, under complications, toggled heart rate to date and back again which sorted the error

Changing the complication around didn’t work for me. I’ve contacted Apple and they also suggested temporarily swapping the complication. As this hasn’t worked they are supposedly getting their engineering team onto it and I’ve been promised a call back in about 3 days. Meanwhile I’ve installed the ‘Cardiogram’ app which has a small complication and seems to work fine. It keeps displaying the heart rate when apple’s own app just shows ‘Tap to measure’. Poor show Apple. Will report back with any details.
