Weather Widget on my iMac not working

My Weather Widget for last 2 days has been blank no info for weather. Is anyone else having this issue? Please advise if there is a way to fix this. I am giving you a screen shot without my town in it.

Thank you for all your help.

Hi again Frank. Click on the Notification Center icon on the far right of the menu bar, click "Edit" at the bottom of the panel that opens, then click the green dot next to Weather. Then click Done at the bottom.

FWIW, the AppStore also sells some apps (anti-virus, so-called cleaners, etc) that can be detrimental to your Mac. That's because the App Store accepts any apps that conform to their developer guidelines and they don't test them for efficacy. Just search "anti-virus" in the AppStore and you'll find tons of worthless junk.

On the other hand, some apps that actually perform well aren't accepted. A case in point is Malwarebytes. Malwarebytes was developed by one of our own colleagues here in ASC and is about the most proven anti-malware software for Mac. It is used and recommended by Apple techs themselves. But it doesn’t conform to  AppStore guidelines because in order to do its job it needs to search parts of the system the guidelines prohibit.

Morning macjack,

i was just trying to let hem know that I would rathe use app from the store but like you said Malwarebytes is a good one I knew that as well. Even though I no longer us it I took all my apps off of here only have what came with my iMac now. I do not need all those apps to slow down my computer. How have you been macjack? Its 32 here in CT. Suppose to be spring here. I know w are not suppose to talk about this. Just wanted to say hey how is it going?

Yes, even Malwarebytes will use unnecessary system resources if used to automatically scan your system. I do keep Malwarebytes on my Mac but not the paid version, which has automatic scan. I only keep it there for an emergency, which hasn't happened yet. If it's not automatically scanning, then it is inert and does not use any resources.

I'm fine, thank you. It's 61ºF here right now and going up to 75º today. Have a great day!
