If your AirPods case is flashing green

I am having exactly the same issue.

left AirPod just have out. Holding down the reset button the case does not work. No matter how long I hold it, it doesn’t flash amber.

By any chance is anyone else here on the IOS beta trial?

This is a huge issue that affected me and my 2 brothers so it’s 3 AirPod gen 2 sets in one household with the same issue apple needs to address this ASAP all they are able to do is replace it and I just hope the issue won’t appear in my replacement set

I've had this issue with my right AirPod, twice!! First time was about 2 weeks after purchasing them with some light use in April, got a full replacement from the store. The same thing has now happened, flashing green light when the AirPod is in. Non of the usual steps work, getting replacement AirPod sent from Apple. Doesn't seem to be the case itself as the wifes AirPods are fine in my case. Third time lucky hopefully!

Having the same issue as above. Haven’t been able to use my new AirPods for 3 weeks. Left one doesn’t register. Right works fine. If I have both in the case it flashes green. Left in alone it flashes amber. I have tried every pairing and reset method listed. Apple store to get them to fix it is. Disappointed Apple is not stepping in on this one.

Did you happen to find a fix for this? I have the exact same problems and I don’t know what to do.

I also have this problem with my right airpod. How should I fix this??? I tried everything..

Same here. 2nd generation. Left ear is dead, cannot get the amber led while trying to reset.

Local reseller said they don't have a replacement and that i will take a while.

That's not serious.

Same issue as everyone else. Resetting does no good, so it seems like I will have to take time out to bring them in to Apple. Very annoying and inconvenient.

Yeah I have the same problem with my gen 2 Airpods too!! My gen 1 used to work fine without any problem but I lost it so I had to buy a new one. Since it's gen 2 and still under warranty, I'm asking Apple for replacement. How about you guys?

I have also had this issue and this response. It is completely unacceptable. What is even more bizarre is that they tell me they don't have any 'replacement' stock but they have 'retail' stock which they cannot use. 'Replacement' stock wait time could be 3-4weeks. I could have bought a brand new set that day though, makes no sense whatsoever!

I have the same issue as well! To make matters worse my gf bought my airpods when she was travelling in NY. I live in Brazil, hope Apple support also works here.

The fact that Apple didn't mention the green blinking lights (and that absolutely anyone knows what does it mean) is ridiculous.

Same for me. I’ve had my 2nd gen AirPods for 2 months and today they stopped working. I accidentally unpaired my AirPods so I went to pair them back but the animation that pops up on your phone when you flip the lid open didn’t show up so I looked at the led light and it was flashing green with both air pods in the case so I press the reset button down for 15 secs and it stayed solid white, no amber. My AirPods won’t reset!! My phone is up to date, the case and AirPods are fully charged, I cleaned the AirPods and case but I have a flashing green light still when I pop my case open wth? I don’t understand how they have answers for every color led light but not for “flashing green light”! $170 down the drain

I have this same issue. 2 months after buying 2nd gen airpods and the right one will not work. When I put both in the case, it flashes green, when I remove the right one, the flashing stops. The left works okay and shows up in the batteries section, but the right one is not working at all or showing up
