Spotlight missing a lot of files when I search the contents of excel. Especially for search the digital in the files of excel.
If I use 10.13 or lower version for the same excel files, everything is fine.
My device is 2018 mac mini.

I reinstall the Mojave, but still no use. Missing a lot of old files, and the new files still can not be found.
I found a temporary way to solve this problem. Conversion of numbers to text in Excel.
I hope Apple can fixed this BUG as soon as possible.
Perhaps it doesn’t Index umbers. It may be that there isn’t any efficiency or they just chose not to do that.

The number can be found in 10.13.6 and other OS, except 10.14.x
That would seem to point to it being an issue with Mojave, whether intentional or not. You would have to contact Apple to resolve that.
