app store not signing me in on my mac

I have been trying to sign in to App Store by clicking on the 'sign in' button and entering my login details...but the button then switches back to 'sign in' and nothing happens.

I have been able to login to icloud, iTunes etc without problem. Its the app store that is not letting me login...!

Any help will be much appreciated!

App store won't let me sign to app store from my mac. It keeps asking my password and I keep putting my password in and then it acts like it went through and NOTHING! i've tried restarting my iMac, iv'e signed, signed out, signed in again and then it asks for my password again and again... and NOTHING... I've tried EVERY THING! HELP!
