Organising files into subject matter in Finder
My Mac doesn't seem to allow any subfolders to save files to, it is entirely based on the name or date or file type etc. Is there anyway to get the files into folders?

Are you using the expanded Save As dialogue, if not click the small downward pointing arrow button at the right hand side of the Where field.
You can then from the tool bar select how to have the display of folders shown.
