I just bought a MacBook Air and I was setting up iMessage. Well for some reason it is now sending things under my brothers email even though I never put his in. I then found out how to delete it and put my number in but it is not allowing my Apple ID to connect to it.

Apple ID Issue My apple ID has been somehow messed up due to an issue when changing my Apple ID. My iMessage on iPhone is completely fine, and connected to the right iMessage with the contacts, though all my other devices are signed into my ID but use my brothers iMessage (we had shared Apple ID). New Ipads made my iMessage not work on my MacBook Air Hey- I bought 2 new ipads for my kids for Christmas. They are only 4, so they do not have their own email addresses. I used my Apple ID to set up both devices. I turned off iMessage on both of their ipads, since they kept receiving all my text messages. This resulted in my MacBook Air now not being able to use iMessage. How can I fix this issue? HELP!

My apple ID has my sons phone number also receiving my imessages and I can't seem to get it off? My apple ID says I have 2 numbers associated with it. My cell phone and my sons. So he also gets my imessages. I can't seem to take it off. Any suggestions?

The system was having problems early this morning and supposedly has been fixed. Have you tried again recently? What error message are you getting?

If this is a new computer, you are entitled to 90 days of telephone support from Apple. Try contacting them.
