Is GSTATIC A SAFE AND SECURE WEB SITE? It keeps showing up in web data although I clear history and web data very often? I have looked it up. Some links say it is safe while others say it is malicious Adware that keeps reinventing itself. Others say it is a virus???? I am concerned. I have an iphone 6s that was previously owned. First post june 2019

Do I have any viruses on my phone? So when I went to a website in safari to watch some videos. After I finished one video and clicked on another one it lead me to another page that was the same. When I went back to the other page it said a hacker was tracking me and I had to download this VPN app in order to stop the viruses from going on my phone. I don’t know if it worked and I don’t know if I still have the viruses. It said I had to keep the vpn app or else the viruses will come back. I don’t know if it could be a scam because I know Apple phones are very secure. I don’t know what to do and I’m kinda paranoid.

Possible Virus So I recently -very accidentally- opened an adult site via a pop-up that appeared last second. I closed out as soon as I could, but I didnt see that there was a second tab opened - warning that I had 13 viruses and my phone was 68% compromised and to download the Protection 360 app. Tbh I freaked out an downloaded it, only to find out later through research that I am SO not supposed to do that. I then Cleared my website history and cookies and reset my phone to factory settings. Is there anything I can do to see if there are actually viruses on that phone now? Because I am honestly a little scared to use it...

gstatic is owned by Google. It's not a virus.

I would start by doing a restore to factory settings and see if that helps.

I had it reset at an Apple store although it was not back to factory settings. I also inherited another telephone number from previous owner. Two factor authentication.
