shift-click

Hi!

Shift-click is not working for me on Mojave. I want in Finder to select mulitple files:

  • Either by first choosing the first file and then the last file, choosing every file in between
  • Or, by moving like in excell, where I choose the first file and then move to the right with the arrows, and then choosing every file in each coloumn, as I move down the rows.

It seems this was a feature in earlier OS systems, but somehow stopped.

Any way of turning it on?

Thanks for the help!

Shift-click works in every Finder view except icon view. You can still drag over a group of icons in icon view. Click just outside the first icon then drag through to the last.
