Powerbeats Pro Connection problems

I have a problem automatically connecting one of the Powerbeats Pro headphones. Sometimes its left one sometimes its the right one. I have iPhone Xs Max so i open powebeats pro case remove left headphone put it on and nothing happens. I remove the right one and put it on and it connects but the left one doesn't. The only way to connect it remove it put it back into the case. Sometimes i need to put back both left and right back to the case and after that it connects. Sometimes i have the problem with the right one. I did a reset but still the problem exist. Anyone has the same problem? looks like its a firmware problem but not sure if there is an update for that.

I have this issue too. Often one of the sides won't connect. Even if I am not near other bluetooth devices. Turning the bluetooth on my iPhone on and off does not help. If you swipe left to see the battery widget only one of the sides shows up.

I have to put them back in the case for a second and then take them out, to get them to work.

Well, I had the same EXACT problem. I reset,repaired,re did everything with no avail. no consistency what so ever.

I eventually got rid of them and went with the wireless power beats 3

they work all the time with no issue.

I have had this exact same issue. I have spent hours trying to get them to work properly and many calls with Apple Service with no outcome. As I purchased these turkeys from Amazon, Apple will not issue a refund and now Amazon won't issue a refund either.

DON"T BUY THESE! THEY ARE EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE AND APPLE DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.

YEP!!!! The same thing happened to me. no phone upgrade BUT the same connection issues. I eventually got rid of them and went the Powerbeats. They work awesome and zero connection issues.

The real issue is why doesn't Apple recognize this as a REAL issue and correct as I really like the above product but they weren't reliable.

Yes, same with my case. Only left earpiece is working. The right piece is dead, on my iphone the image of powerbeats pro, the right piece have RED Exclamatory mark!

Same here. When I picked up one side, the screen sometimes shows a red exclamation mark (!) for that side. It will work again if I put that back into the case and pick it up again.

@nikony13 Exactly! I have the flashing red mark as well. I think it has nothing to do with iOS version as the issue persists even though I have updated iOS 12.3 to 12.4.

Well my started with my right ear not charging and loosing battery inside the case. I called apple and they told me to reset and after reset now they can connect anymore

Same issue. So annoying. The fix isn't that difficult. Except when you don't discover it until you're away from the clamshell on a run or at the gym. Ugh. It happens fairly frequently.
