Cloud9 requires third-party cookies. Can’t find a way to enable them or whitelist sites on iPad Pro.

I’ve checked the third party cookies issue and it has been fixed in iPadOS 13.2. Here’s a screenshot with Safari.

Considering buying an iPad Pro just to use for Cloud 9's IDE, but this is a non starter for me. I too have tried to enable third party tracking, etc., but to no avail. Third party cookies are stilled blocked by the beta version of ipad os.

Any updates?

iPad with iOS 12 and with the Safari setting "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" off (to not get the third-party cookies being blocked error) works to some degree or other (but not very satisfactory), but as tolatomeow writes, iPadOS always yields the third-party cookies being blocked error. I would love for this to work.

I don’t think so. I’m on latest 13.1 DB2 and it is still not working.

If any of you are on iPadOS 13, you can't bring questions to this forum per the NDA you agreed to when you downloaded the beta pre-release software. This may well be your problem, but you're on your own.

All you can do is file a bug report through the Report Assistant you were provided when signed on to be a beta tester.

I spent an hour or so on the phone with Apple to follow up on this.

The best I could get was that it may or may not be in the next release - though there’s no evidence one way or the other. My particular ticket on this seems to have vanished.

I’m still unable to get third party cookies working (whatismybrowser checked). I’ve reset all web history and data, restarted safari (swipe up to close the app and then re-open), restarted the IPad itself. No joy.

Have I missed something?

In iPadOS13 DB it is still not working, even with "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" off. Sadly.

So you are telling me that it works on iOS12?

No, I'm not saying that. I don't know if it does. But since you are using iPadOS, you can't ask questions on this forum.

It is no longer in beta but this issue has not been resolved and still happens. Any ideas?

I'll second that as well. I've got a couple tabs open with CLoud9 running like a champ!

I see you have a question about cookies in iOS. The settings you mentioned under Settings > Safari would be the best built-in way to manage cookie blocking: Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. While there's not a whitelist that you could add to, you can always send your feedback about this directly to Apple using this link: Product Feedback

I have this problem as well. There's something that blocks this in the OS, and there is no configuration setting that will change it.

I spoke with Apple's Tech Support and they told me to file a ticket so their engineering staff can fix it. I haven't heard anything for a couple of weeks now.
