Macbook 15 inch 2017 has the same stage light / Fluxgate problem that the 13 inch model has. Please provide link to Apple repair / replacement program

so far that looks like what can be interpreted from their silence.
They admit / take responsibility for this exact issue with the 13 inch, less expensive to fix models, but for the 15 inch, more expensive to fix models, yes, they didn't admit this is a problem yet.
Who's facing this issue in 2021?! 15" MacBook Pro 2016 :)

Same problem on 2017 MacBook Pro. Started as stage light. Ended up with a pop and black screen. Apple needs to own up to a design flaw.
That sucks. I hardly ever close my MacBook now, as I just use it at home. I don’t want it to deteriorate further.

I am also stuck to using it as a desktop, Had to buy adaptors so I can use it with my old monitor that I have, doesn't feel the same but at least I can get some use out of it
Apple doesn’t read this. The only people who read this are other people with the same broken display and there are more and more of them every day

What year and model is yours exactly ?
I have two 2017 MBP 15 inch laptops. One is already displayng this problem. The second, I have to keep open so it doesn't trigger the flexgate / display cutting out.

They replaced the screen for this problem?
The Genius Bar qouted us $700 for the repair as the problem didn't happen until AppleCare expired.. ...
Sign me up if Apple is now fixing these , like they have by court order for the 13 inch model.
