Earpods aren't working

My earpods aren't working but i can charge my phone. The earpods work when i'm listening music on my ipod. I have a Iphone 7. I hope somebody can help me.

EarPods not working when plugged one way As you know, you can plug lightning accessories one way or the other. My EarPods only work when I plug them in my iPhone one way, but not the other. However, I have tried the same EarPods in two other Apple devices and I didn’t experience that issue. I also have other headphones which work fine with my phone. Does anyone know what the issue could be? I already cleaned the lightning port on my phone.

EarPods not working. I have a iPhone 11 Pro Max and when I plug in EarPods thru the lightning port the phone don’t get connected. I try with 2 different pairs and they are work in a different phones.

See this, If your headphones don't work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support, and if they still won't work, follow the last step in the support document, contact Apple Support.
