There has never been any native calculator or weather app for iPads, ever!

There is NO fix or remedy.

Lots of great third party calculator and weather apps for many years for iPads.

Do a search in the iOS App Store and pick one and install it.

Here is a link to why an iOS calculator app never shipped or became available from Apple for iPad.

It is, probably, the same reason for no native iPad/iOS weather app.

MichelPM,

I don’t know what you saw in my screenshot that would have you think I’m using iPadOS beta. I’d never even heard of that, except to read on this forum that it’s not discussed here.

Besides providing a screenshot of my open Widgets, I provided two Apple Support instructions on using them. Do you view them? Do you think I’d offer information to share to questioners with which I’ve had no personal experience?

I’ve always had the Calculator available on all of my iPads. While it’s new to me to use Widgets, that fact is nothing new, as I didn’t known how to use the Control Center, either, ‘till a recent class. But the calculator has always been available...

I’m using the ‘18 iPadPro, iOS 12.3.1, and that same calculator has always been available on my previous iPads, also.

Then the calculator widget must be new to iOS 11/12, then.
It is NOT available in iOS 10. I have no calculator widgets at all.

It sounds like there is some perhaps some confusion. Widgets are not the icons in the Control Center. Third party apps have had the ability to add widgets since there have been widgets. Some do, some don't. Third party apps, of course, can't add icons to the Control Center.

If you don't have a Calculator widget, it's because either the calculator app you're using doesn't include one or you have added it.
