I closed a current working FCPX 10.4.6 version project. When I reopened the project the timeline shows a missing camera icon in my timeline.
When I try to relink the files the original file are not available.
The file has not been moved and it is in a known location.
I have had this happen a couple of times recently . Does anyone have a solution? Much Thanks, Micheal
The file are stored on the external drive copied from 4 cards. (a process I have used for years and has worked with no issues until now).
It takes me to this folder.
All the other clips are in the same location and they work fine. I am consolidating the files to the library drive now and will see it that resolves this issue. Much thanks,
Tom, I used the FCPX import tool.
I had been working on the timeline for more than six hours. All tenders were complete and the files completely imported.
Please confirm where your library media is being stored. Look in the library properties. What does it say? Is the library media in that location?

What are you showing? Is BHA inside the library bundle?
I've heard of this problem happening before when there are multiple files with the same name. It can be a problem with cameras that don't use unique names for each shot.
