Trackpad lagging

I just got my laptop back from apple support, and ever since the cursor has been lagging. I'll move it and it'll freeze before jumping to where I moved it. I've never had this problem before now. I've tried restarting, reseting the NVRAM and SMC but neither did anything. Restarting does make the cursor work fine for about half an hour, but after that it starts lagging again. Support replaced both the battery and logic board, everything else seems to be working fine.

Hey Sydney_A,

I see that you're having some trouble with the trackpad of your MacBook Pro not tracking the way it should after receiving your MacBook Pro back from being serviced.

Try the steps listed here under "Your mouse or trackpad doesn't track as expected" : If your Apple wireless mouse, keyboard, or trackpad isn't working as expected - Apple Support

Also see if the same issue with the trackpad happens in safe mode. Be aware that internet access is limited in safe mode, but sometimes just starting in this mode and then restarting normally can resolve issues like this: Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support

Keep us updated. Cheers!
