MacBook Pro 15inch 2019 - OVERHEATING

I have recently received my brand new MacBook Pro, 16inch 2019 with 32GB ram, 1TB. I also notice mine is very hot and the whirring sound of the fan is constantly running (I only have Chrome open right now and the fan is going). I purchased a laptop stand as I have previously been using an iMac and wasn't sure if the MacBook Pro needed to be raised for ventilation. I am also having issues with Bluetooth dropping out. My Apple magic keyboard is working intermittently and other times I cannot connect it at all. I spent 6 months researching what to upgrade to, spoke to various Apple staff and was assured this version of the MacBook Pro would easily suit my needs. I phoned Apple for assistance with the Bluetooth problem, which is still unresolved, and also mentioned the heat, the response was to monitor it and see how it goes? I'm not sure how hot is too hot and should it even be hot?

Yeah same. Mine is overheating, running slow, and freezing. I have the MacBook Pro 13-inch 2019 8GB memory and 256GB SSD. I paid more for the higher GB Solid-State Drive, so I am extremely upset that this new computer that I got in September of last year suddenly is crapping out. My 2013 MacBook Pro worked wayyy better than this one, it's unbelievable

Thank you. This is very helpful. What steps did you go through to convince Apple to replace? I have spent days of my life at this point at the Apple store and on the phone with their teams. They continue to wipe my 2019 and assure me that nothing is wrong with it ... and return it to me with the same overheating issues. It's a constant problem. So far, everyone has refused to replace or admit that there is an issue. Any guidance on the steps you took would be so helpful.

The first responders at 1-800-APLCARE handle calls about every Apple product every day. That these first responders are not connecting the dots on this issue does not surprise me in the slightest. That is not their job.

Apple employs about 750,000 people worldwide. I have not heard 'anyone authorized to speak for Apple' deny that this problem exists.

I have a MacBook Pro 16'' 2019 (i7, 16 RAM, 512 SSD) with overheating problems. I bought on last December 2019, I have 2.5 months with this and my experience is bad. The macbook overheating until 70ºC. Its embarroising y apple don't give me a solution

I just had the motherboard, processor and touchpad board replaced after just 7 months. It all got burnt out. This is a 2015 15 inch MacBook Pro and to think that I paid over 2 grand for this is ridiculous. They replaced it free of charge but what if this happens outside the warranty?

Never buy Apple MacBook again!

I am sorry, I too wasted 3000 on this machine that advertised it could work with graphic programs and that is why I sank 3000 into it. I tried to write Tim Cook for 3 months with no answer. I bought mine in feb before covid and it has been nothing but a piece of tin since that I can only look at the internet on it for a brief period. Ive had to to turn down jobs as a graphic designer because the machine can not handle ANY software. I am currently looking into getting a PC.

On mine the temperature shoots up with anything that is not intensive in the least. Applecare says it's normal, no it isn't and thats why they burn out within a year. Mine can barely handle light internet usage and gets hot just using word for one hour and gets very loud. It is advertised to handle graphic programs which is a joke. It is in fact all over the internet like these buyers say, Apple does deny it is a problem. even though s million buyers are complaining about it. I too have a cooling pad with 3 fan as it gets so hot water would boil on it. As another user said in another thread it is "useless" cannot even use it but could fry an egg on it. And I have barely had mine 3 months!

Did you not see all the me too likes 300 on this thread alone plus google macbook overheating for the many other complainers. I would compile a list but I don't think my macbook would stay on that long without frying my fingers off from the hot as **** keyboard since with all the complaints it would need to be on more than one hour.

I have using macbook pro 2019 model 15inch i9 processor, 16 GB RAM, 512 ROM. For last 10 months I'm facing heating issues and no one from iCare resolved the issues have faced by me on my macbook pro. I have taken my mac to iCare more than 4 times and more but not resolved by correcting the issue or replacement. Why Apple company opened to cheat people by selling expensive laptops without taking care of there customers issues and no help from there service centers too.

I HOPE WITH THIS BLOG APPLE COMPANY WILL RESPOND TO THE ICARE IN MAROTTICHUVADU, IN KERALA, INDIA FOR FURTHER ASSISTANCE.

I need a clear resolution other wise I will be forced to file a case in consumer court.

Hey I just found this thread. Right now I'm working with Illustrator and I thought my mcb will explode. IT SOUNDS A LOTTTTT, The fan is working at maximum i guess. I can feel the burn in my legs. This happens when im working at my desk. I just hate it. My mcb is from december 2019. I'm totally mad with my bc of this purchase. Does anyone has a solution? What about laptop cooling?

Posting here does not influence Apple company in any way.

Mainly is that mac having 16GB ram then I will recommend you to upgrade to 16inch 1 TB SSD with 32GB ram so everything will get resolved. Or my conclusion is that the apple company should recall all the mac sold from December 2019 including minw.

Hi i have just recently got my Macbook Pro and have the exact same issue when using only safari. it is so hot it could burn my son's hand if he touches it. Did your's get rectified and how?

Also it lags sometimes and recently randomly the speakers stopped working, after inserting a headphones jack into the machine they soon started working - how bizarre!

I would appreciate any help.
